The company

Four founders. One direction.

Atomic Cubit designs superconducting quantum processors in India. Design-stage, bootstrapped, and precise about which of those words means what.

Mission

Design and build India's quantum chip — and publish exactly what we measure.

Origin

We were running our code on somebody else’s quantum computer — hours booked on a machine on another continent. It ran, end to end. And one thought stayed with me: the software is ours. The machine underneath it isn’t. Unless we build it.

Atomic Cubit is what that thought became. This is slow, unforgiving engineering. It will take years. I want India to be a place that builds these machines, not only a place that uses them.

The founding team

Pally Sai Tilak

Co-founder · Chief Technology Officer

Leads measurement, error-correction experiments, and the control-stack work. Every result on the ledger ran through his pipeline.

Nikhil

Co-founder · Chief Executive Officer

Leads the company: operations, partnerships, and keeping the engineering honest about time and money.

Founding team

Hardware · Devices

Our founding team includes specialists in superconducting device fabrication and Josephson-junction physics — full introductions soon.

Four. No advisory board we haven’t earned, no names on a website who don’t work here.

How we work

The claims policy is public.

Every outbound claim passes a two-founder review gate before it ships — posts, pages, decks, papers.

Every figure wears its rung: designed, simulated, fabricated, or measured. The reserved words — measured, demonstrated, verified — are used only when we can hand over the data.

Corrections go out on the same channel, the same day, in our own voice. Never a silent delete. Criticism is never removed.

We publish our negatives and our retractions, dated. The full publishing rules are on the approach page.

Plainly

Where things stand.

  • Funding: bootstrapped — four founders. No outside capital.
  • Track record: encoded-qubit and memory experiments on IBM cloud hardware as a paying customer; job IDs on the ledger.
  • Partnerships and foundry: announced when signed, with the name of the thing on it.
  • Place: India.
